Ethics?
Now here's a topic you don't see on every design firm's site.
According to Merriam-Webster OnLine, "ethics" is:
1) the discipline dealing with what is good and bad and with moral
duty and obligation
2) a: a set of moral principles or values, b: a theory or system of moral
values, c: the principles of conduct governing an individual or a group, d:
a guiding philosophy.
>Both the designer behind SureLine Studios and her partners are properly
trained and experienced in their trade. Any client needing a professional
of a certain expertise - other than our own - will be pointed in the right
direction.
>When
designing pieces, SureLine Studios looks for imagery that best fits the project.
The appropriate agencies are contacted and compensated. SureLine doesn't "borrow"
or download images without the proper permission and compensation to those
agencies and the photographers and illustrators therein.
After all, these are the ethical things to do.
If you find yourself guided by a firm that doesn't produce proper credentials,
or claims it can obtain images for free, run in the other direction.
If you're interested in further explaination of our ethical code, please feel
free to contact SureLine Studios
directly.
